The senior hitter earned honorable mention All-State honors last fall. KELLIE WINCKLER, ANDES CENTRAL. One of the state s best hitters, Winckler helped the Eagles earn a return trip to the state tourney. TESSA WEELDREYER, PARKER. She was the team s offensive MVP after recording 304 kills. DEVON BRECKE, WAGNER. A veteran of state tournaments, the 5-foot-10 hitter leads a team that lost only one starter. Alcester-Hudson COACH: Linda Thompson (5th year) ASSISTANTS: Vicki Abart, Hannah Baily VITALS: District 8 LAST YEAR: The Cubs had a successful year going 16-11 overall. In the post-season Alcester-Hudson had a good run through districts before losing in the region. The Cubs volleyball team lost four starters from 2010.
