    PRESS & DAKOTAN SATURDAY, JANUARY 23, 2015 PAGE 11 Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service St. Agnes School Vermillion, SD The mission of St. Agnes School is to provide a Christ centered, compassionate community in which to educate our children's minds, hearts and spirits. 2015 Schedule Wednesday, January 21st Diocesan Catholic Schools Mass St. Agnes School will join the other Catholic Schools in the Diocese to celebrate Mass with Bishop Swain for the 125th Anniversary of our Sioux Falls Diocese. There will be music by Morning Star at 10:30 a.m. and Mass with Bishop Swain at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, January 25th St. Agnes School: Community of Faith, Knowledge and Service Please join us in our celebration of Catholic Schools Week in our parish by attending our 10:30 a.m. AllSchool Mass. Kindergarten-Fifth grade students will participate in the liturgy. The Ham Dinner will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Meal Tickets are $7 adults, $4 students, 3 years and under eat free. Tickets are available at the door. The bidding for our Time, Talent & Treasure Silent Auction will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. The verbal auction will begin at 12:00 noon. We will be auctioning many great goods and services from the parishioners and parents. We will say prayers, do a flag salute, and sing a song or two. Read in the Gym at 2:30 p.m. During the week each classroom will be participating in different service projects for our community. The school fundraiser will be a coin drive for new play ground equipment. The top raising class will earn a prize! Tuesday, January 27th In Our Students Spirit Day Family Picnic during Lunchtime Families are invited to come in and eat lunch with us. If you would like to have a school lunch, please call the school (624-4144) by Friday, Jan. 23rd, to order your cheeseburger or hotdog. An adult lunch is $3.50. Student Talent Show at 12:30 p.m. following lunch in the gym. The Second Grade class enjoyed their trip to the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center in Sioux City. The 3rd Graders visited the Vermillion Airport as part of their Community Survey Project. The 4th grade students provided service for the Vermillion Backpack program.
